White knuckles and G-force acceleration at Cabarita
THE roar of V8s, white-knuckle acceleration and G-forces similar to a fighter jet meant only one thing at the weekend.
V8 Jetsprint racing had arrived back at Cabarita Beach.
The third round of this year's season at Round Mountain Rd featured some tight racing and great spectator numbers, with the naturally elevated stadium showcasing some seriously slick racing.
In the 350s category Brett Thornton clocked in at 48.86 seconds, Brooke Dixon at 41.03 for the International Group A and Daryl Hutton at 39.80 in the Unlimited competition.
