Win tickets to see the Long Walk to Freedom

THE story of Nelson Mandela, political revolutionary and Nobel Peace Prize winner, has been turned into the subject of a Hollywood film.

The autobiography, of the same name, spans Mandela's extraordinary life, from his childhood in a rural village, through to his inauguration as the first democratically elected President of South Africa.

Long Walk to Freedom will be in local cinemas February 6 and stars Idris Elba (Prometheus) as Nelson Mandela, Naomie Harris (Skyfall) stars as Winnie Mandela, with Justin Chadwick (The Other Boleyn Girl) directing.

The motion picture promises to be an intimate portrait of the making of a modern icon, the thrilling story of an ordinary man who rose to the challenge of his times and triumphed.

The Daily News and Tweed Border Mail will be giving away 20 double passes to the film, so make sure you read today's Border Mail and Saturday's Daily to find out how you can win one.
