Winter and frosts are finally here

WINTER is definitely here, according to Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Peter Otto.

"There might be a bit of a drizzle this weekend and there's the chance of a bit of frost later on as well," he said yesterday.

He said a high pressure system was making its way up from central Australia bringing some dry air with it which would bring fine conditions.

He said tomorrow morning was expected to be a chilly one with frosts expected around the Downs on Monday morning.

FORECAST

  •  Tomorrow: Minimum 5°C maximum 14°C
  •  Monday: Minimum 4°C, maximum 13°C
