Woman killed in highway crash
A WOMAN was killed in a single vehicle crash in Palm Beach on Monday night.
Gold Coast police are investigating the crash on the Pacific Motorway.
According to police, the car was travelling south at around about 10.45pm when it left the road before the Palm Beach exit and collided with a tree.
A woman, the sole occupant of the car, was taken to Robina Hospital in a critical condition but died a short time later.
