Woolies has come a long way and is opening its doors

YOU might love it or hate it, but Woollies at Cabarita will open its doors tomorrow morning for the first time.

Opening at 8am, it's expected that there will be a rush of customers wanting a gander at the state of the art store.

Even Richmond MP Justine Elliot and Tweed mayor Barry Longland will get the chance to check it out when they officially "cut the ribbon."

Local produce will have its place, with store manger Conrad Jonathon saying Woolworths has taken on 58 staff members, many from the community.

Woolworths will be stocking local produce, including local bananas, mangoes and avocadoes and will have a range of organic and free range products.

The store will be open from 7.30am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and from 8am to 8pm on Sundays.
