World’s sexiest man visits Byron and no one notices
HOLLYWOOD actor Ryan Reynolds has slipped into Byron Bay unnoticed.
Reynolds may have been voted Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine in 2010, but it seems he didn't raise an eyebrow in the bay.
The actor, who is married to Blake Lively and was previously wed to Scarlett Johansson, told interviewers while on the promotional circuit for new movie Turbo that he was able to walk around and relax without being recognised.
Reynolds said he and a mate had planned to ride motorbikes from Sydney to Perth, but instead got as far as Byron and realised it would be "madness" to try for Perth.
In his latest movie Turbo, Reynolds voices the character of a snail who wants to speed up and race.
He has previously starred in films such as Safe House, the Proposal, Definitely Maybe and Green Lantern, the last of which has had a ride built in its honour at Movieworld on the Gold Coast.
