READERS DISCUSS: Teens getting in cars with drunk drivers

THE Morning Bulletin asked it's Facebook readers whether they thought teens need more education about drink driving.

Here's what they had to say.

Ryan Mathew Newport: It's not just drink driving, people just simply aren't too bright around here.

Lauren Jensen: Most drunk drivers are beyond caring or thinking reasonably & usually anyone getting in the car with them is also the same way unless they are children who have no choice.

John Fitzgerald: With risks there are consequences. Until it happens to you or people close to you will you realise that it is not worth it. There are no heroics in driving a car intoxicated.

STOP and think before getting into a car with someone who has been drinking.

Terry Grant: It's not that people need to be educated on the fact, it's more people need to pull their heads in and start using that thing between their ears....it's not just for ventilation you know.

Shaun O'Leary: I wonder how many would admit to BEING the drunk driver?

Patty Ate To-much Cake: When you're drunk yourself you don't really think about the risks of getting in the car with a drunk driver.
