YOUR SAY: Translink Bungle on Bradman Avenue stop

I would like to say I'm not happy about the bus stop on Bradman Avenue, Maroochydore, near Denna Street being closed for 6 months due to demolition of an old building and redevelopment of a new building.

This stop is mainly for those people alighting or getting on a Noosa Bus 620,622. The previous stop is Minti Street which is quite a distance to the closed stop.

There are a lot of peple who live in Maroochy River park who catch this bus and are elderly. The next stop in Diura street is really not safe for people to cross the road, as it is just prior to traffic heading on or off the Maroochy Bridge.

A Translink notice was placed in the said bus stop with no alternative for a temporay bus stop.

I use public transport regularly and travel to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital twice a week to volunteer, this is not satisfactory that this bus stop should be closed for 6 months.

Surely Translink could arrange a temporary stop between Minti Street and Denna Street.
