A 19-YEAR-man was trapped for almost an hour in a vehicle that was close to slipping into the Tweed River on Tuesday, February 19. Murwillumbah Police senior constable Jason McGinley said two people were in the vehicle when it lost control and collided with a mini-bus on the Tweed Valley Way. The car then hit a tree on the bank of the Tweed River south of Tumbulgum.
